Wednesday 23rd August, 2017

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)  day will begin at 9:15 as a whole school assembly with a visiting scientist from Earth Ed who will do a number of mind boggling science experiments to launch  students’ scientific minds into action for the day. Students will then rotate through a number of activities which are designed to get students to think critically and activate their problem-solving skills.

The STEM day is also designed to cover all four science strands (Physical Science, Earth and Space Science, Chemical Science and Biological Science) so students will be exposed to everything from rockets, rocks, robots, bugs and more!

Parents are more than welcome to come for the day and join in on scientific learning .
